What is forged fittings ?
Forging pipe fittings are parts made by forging methods. Forging is a piece that is forged by impact force.
A forging machine is used to apply pressure to the metal blank to produce plastic deformation to obtain a processing method for forgings with certain mechanical properties, certain shapes and sizes. Through the continuous beating of the pipe fittings, the original segregation, porosity, porosity, slag inclusion and other components in the steel ingot are compacted and welded, and the structure becomes tighter, which improves the plasticity and mechanical properties of the metal.
Forged pipe fittings mainly include forged flanges, forged reducers, and forged tees.
The main materials of forged pipe fittings are q235, q345, 16mn, 20#, 35#, 45#, 40Cr, 12Cr1MoV, 30CrMo, 15CrMo, 20G, etc.
Applications of forged fittings
Mainly used in high-pressure steam equipment, chemical high-temperature and high-pressure pipelines, pressure vessels in power plants and nuclear power plants, high-pressure boiler accessories, etc.
