Steel Pipe with fbe coating are produced as per AWWAC213 standard. The FBE coating is very good for conveying drinking water as well as oil and gas transferring, which is specially used for water drinking and water distribution system in the international market . Fusion bonded epoxy coatings are heat-activated, chemically cured coating system .
The coating power shall be applied to the preheated pipe at a uniform cured- film thickness of not less than 12 mils(305µm) on the exterior and interior. The maximum thickness shall not exceed a nominal 16mils(406µm) unless recommended by the manufacture or specified by the purchaser.
The pipe can be very highly polished ,very healthy and environmental,and it has passed the test for Disease control and Prevention .
Good anticorrosive property,its service life can be more than 100 years.
It can well prevent the growth of bacteria and mounds in the water,have a high anti-scale building up ability.There have the possibility of blocking the pipe ends if the water capacity is so bid when the cement lining is used.It delivers more 15-20% the volume of water compared with the same diameter other type coating pipes(cement Lining).
